AlphaGyro Studio license
AlphaGyro Studio is commercial software by AlphaCST. The commercial license terms (plans, price, number of machines and activation) are still being defined and will be published on this page. Until then, use of the software is governed by the Terms of Use.
Third-party components
AlphaGyro Studio uses the components below, each under its own license. The full license texts and copyright notices ship with the application in the THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES file installed with the program.
| Component | Use | License |
|---|---|---|
| nlohmann/json | JSON reading and writing | MIT |
| Monocypher | Ed25519 signature verification for updates and profiles | BSD-2-Clause or CC0-1.0 (dual) |

| FFmpeg | Video decoding and encoding, when included in the distribution | LGPL (version 2.1 or later) |
About FFmpeg
When an AlphaGyro Studio distribution includes FFmpeg libraries, they are used under the LGPL as separate dynamic libraries that the user can replace. That distribution's THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES states the version used, the build configuration and where to obtain the corresponding source code. Builds that use only the operating system's native encoders do not include FFmpeg.
